Terms & Conditions of Stay

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed after we receive a 50 % advance (UPI, bank transfer, or secure card link).

  • Balance is due on arrival.

 2.Check‑in / Check‑out

  • Check‑in: 1 pm onward | Check‑out: 11 am

  • Early check‑in / late check‑out subject to availability and may incur half‑day charges.

 3.Identification

All adult guests must present a valid government photo ID (passport, Aadhaar, voter card, or driver’s licence) at check‑in, as per the Registration of Foreigners Rules and local police requirements.

 4. Use of Property

  • Please respect quiet hours (10 pm – 7 am).

  • Outside visitors are not allowed in cottages without prior approval.

  • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas; no smoking indoors.

  • Pets: please enquire before booking. Our resident dog, Molly, is on the premises.

 5.Liability

  • We take reasonable care of guests and property. Stone Villa is not liable for loss, theft, or injury caused by events beyond our control (e.g., acts of nature).

  • Guests are responsible for any damage they cause.

6. Force Majeure

If we must cancel or shorten a booking due to events beyond our control (natural disaster, government order), we will offer free rescheduling or a full refund of unused nights.

7.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Almora shall have jurisdiction.
