Terms & Conditions of Stay

Welcome to the Stone Villa Almora. We are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable, peaceful, and memorable stay in the serene hills of Uttarakhand. By making a reservation and staying at Stone Villa Almora, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment Policy

Booking Confirmation

  • A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of 50% of the total booking amount as an advance payment.
  • The remaining 50% balancemust be paid at the time of check-in, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Bank Transfer
  • UPI
  • Cash (for final payment at check-in)

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If a confirmed booking is cancelled by the guest at any time prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Since the advance payment itself constitutes 50% of the total booking amount, the advance amount is non-refundable.
  • Any amount paid in excess of the 50% advance, if applicable, will be refunded after deducting the cancellation charge.
  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 working daysto the original mode of payment.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In Time

  • 1:00 PM onwards


Check-Out Time

  • 11:00 AM


Early Check-In and Late Check-Out

  • Subject to availability and prior approval.
  • Additional charges may apply.

4. Guest Identification

  • All guests must present a valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in, in accordance with Indian law.
  • Foreign nationals must provide a valid passport and visa.

5. Occupancy Policy

  • Only registered guests are permitted to stay at the property.
  • Additional guests may incur extra charges and are subject to management approval.
  • Extra beds or mattresses are available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges. Guests are requested to inform management in advance if an extra bed is required.

6. House Rules

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we kindly request adherence to the following rules:

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and indoor areas.
  • Guests may smoke only in designated outdoor areas.
  • A cleaning and deodorizing fee may be charged for violations.


Quiet Hours

  • Guests are requested to maintain reasonable noise levels, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

 
Cleanliness and Respect

  • Guests are expected to keep rooms and common areas in a clean and respectful condition.
  • Please conserve water and electricity.


Laundry Service Policy

  • Laundry services are available upon request and will be charged separately. Guests are encouraged to contact management for assistance and applicable rates.


Firewood Policy

  • Firewood bundles for bonfires and fireplaces are available upon request and will be charged separately. Guests are requested to notify management in advance to make the necessary arrangements.


Illegal Activities

  • Any unlawful activity, including the use of prohibited substances, is strictly forbidden and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

7. No-Show and Early Departure

No-Show

  • Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and the advance amount will be forfeited.


Early Departure

  • No refund will be provided for early departure after check-in.

8. Damage and Loss

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay.
  • Charges for repair or replacement may be applied.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
  • Stone Villa Almora shall not be liable for loss, theft, damage, or injury arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

10. Cancellation by Stone Villa Almora

In the unlikely event that Stone Villa Almora is unable to honor a confirmed reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We will also make reasonable efforts to assist in arranging alternative accommodation where possible.

11. Force Majeure

Stone Villa Almora shall not be held responsible for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, or public health emergencies.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for reservation and guest management purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your stay shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Almora, Uttarakhand.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a reservation and making the advance payment, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
